What’s New

New Location for Adult Beverages. This year we have moved the adult drinks over to 311 Gay Street (former Tula’s space) so you can enjoy libations next to the food court and while watching the parade. We will be featuring spirits by Copper Fox Distillery with original spirits and cocktails and Pen Druid Fermentation pouring Wood-fired, Spontaneous, Barrel-fermented & Coolshipped Native Beer, Natural Cider and Wine. Magnolia Vineyards will also be pouring their fabulous wine.

Enhanced Transportation Options. To ensure safe and smooth transportation we added one more bus for transport to and from the High School. Handicap parking for those who need transportation for wheelchairs is now at the High School and begins at 10:30am. Buses will start running from the High School at 10am with frequent trips until the last bus leaves town and returns to the High School at 4:30pm.

Additional Food Vendors
No doubt we love our local food and beverage vendors! We’re so spoiled with the variety of really top-quality food and beverages available in this small-but-perfectly-formed corner of the country. As regular attendees know all too well, hungry mouths have eaten our vendors clean out of food in the past, so we’ve added new vendors to the team keeping everyone fed this year. If you prefer lighter fare there will be treats (dirty sodas, baked goods, cotton candy, chocolates etc) at Avon Hall

Artisans
This year our artisans market reflects the talent from the surrounding area. With some new artisans and some old favorites, you’ll be sure to find gifts for Christmas, or just because, why not?

Support the Rappahannock County High School Girls Basketball Team
The girls basketball team will be doing a bake sale to raise funds for their uniforms and apparel. They will be located in the Artisan Market – please support them by buying some yummy treats!

Updated Kids Activities. The event will feature annual favorites (pony rides, story telling, face painting, cookie decorating) and we will see the return of ornament decorating this year!

Photo Locations for Your Socials with #CILW25
Corral the kids, your friends and family and attempt to keep them still for a brief second and snap a cute Christmas picture. Then, if you share it to social media, tag your pics with #CILW25Rappahannock News will be sharing as many of the #CILW25 photos as they can following the event.

We are Still Green!
This year Christmas in Little Washington is proud to have earned the Virginia Green Festival Certification. As a key part of our mission, we want to have a positive impact on our natural environment. Tap this link to learn more about how green we are!

Pets?
Nope. Please, no. Pets are NOT encouraged to attend and, if they do join you, pets MUST be on a leash. A leash is optional for children. The concern for pets is the quantity and close proximity of a variety of animals including horses… and some really huge horses.
